A Journey of ‘Achada’ (top layer fabric on the block printing table)
‘Achada’, is just a cotton fabric layered on the hand block printing table. Where many various kind fabrics like chanderi, maheshwari, silk, cotton etc come as blank canvas and been printed with beautiful block and lovely colors combination creates the magic and it turns to the product and later leave behind impression on the ‘ Achada’. The pattern which forms after many repeat of blocks and the finally filled with colours that creates Nature itself.
My experience is to keep looking at it and figuring out the many impressions, for me it’s an expression of Art and history.
